To fellow Olympia cruiser riders.
Now don't get me wrong. I dig all bikes and respect all who ride. No matter what they ride.

However, because I'm on a cruiser I'm looking for fellow cruisers in the Olympia area to meet up with for some summer adventures!

If you are interested, hit me up on this thread.

Peace.

To each his own I guess, but I am a bit curious.

What sort of "adventures" do you have in mind that would make a cruiser a prerequisite?

I'm guessing he's smart enough to know that most of the sportbikers on this forum would consider a slower paced group ride not fun.

Could be, but that is a gross generalization in itself, just as the idea that cruisers cannot take a twisty road is fallacious. Furthermore, perhaps some of our more "spirited" riders could benefit from taking a more leisurely ride periodically.

Like I said, I am really curious.

It was kinda silly to post that on here.
Little does he know that sportbikers are plenty fun and generally understanding of cruisers.
Missing many rides with attitude like that!

Dan

Good point. I don't ride a cruiser either. If you go by the marketing standards. I do, however, try to avoid roads zoomers might frequent.

Exactly, I was just looking for others to cruise with, that is all. I had no intentions with this thread to say that sportbikers are not fun and not willing to ride with cruisers. And I have no problems with riding with them either. I think it would be great.

I ride a sportbike and I don't mind slow paced rides at all. A sportbike is the only bike I can comfortably ride.

Kewl.

If you decide to put something together I might, schedule permitting, drop on by.

I spend enough time in Olympia during the winter I sometimes feel like a local, so I might as well try to pop in for a ride with the real ones.

Sometimes I like to tuck behind my windscreen at 55mph and get 50mpg.

OP, just post up a ride, and whoever shows, goes. It does help to know the purpose or destination, and the pace. I have been on a couple of great rides that started on PNWRiders.

We saw quite a few cruiser (V-Twin) riders with a sprinkling of GW's on SR6, yesterday.

Probably something involving a leather vest, hairy chest, no shirt, and really tight leather pants..

I think more than one of us knows how uncomfortable the back of a patrol car is. At least you fit back there Norm.
