There's a good reason for asking this...
Eastern Europeans have a propensity for buying totaled (or otherwise badly worn/damaged) late-model cars, and then repairing & selling them at a large profit. While there's nothing wrong with this, said Eastern Europeans are no better (or worse) than the average shade-tree mechanic, so it's a real crap-shoot as to whether or not repairs were made properly.


While it may not be a bucket of problems, you won't know unless you have the car thoroughly inspected.
And I was of the impression that once a WA title is branded, it's that way for life...

Bought the wife an '05 Subaru STI brand new w/ 4mi. on the clock for 31k. It is now paid off and shows 81k mi. KBB shows we can still get close to 20k for it.
With all the after mkt. goodies on it there isn't much on the road (besides our bikes) that can pull it.

Besides, that car is a Dodge..... Need I say more?

My bottom line;

Cars are a terrible investment. The worst. They only depreciate, and they suck dollars out of your wallet in the form of gas, oil, tires, other maintenance and insurance. You need to take some time and really examine why you need a car. You said "commuting" in your first post, yet the car you are looking at is not a commuter in any sense of the word. That car is a toy. Do you have the financial strength to be buying $15,000 toys? If so, then go for it.

I'm a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Mazda 3 type of guy. Boring? Yes. But I make up for it with guns, bicycles, cameras, motorcycles, computers, and snowboards which I can afford because I don't spend money on big gas guzzling behemoths that are worth less than half of what I paid when I'm ready for a new one. It's the boring cars that maintain their value over time. I've paid my dues to the auto industry when I was young, and I learned my lesson. Maybe you can learn from me too.

does it even have a hemi in it??I would stay away unless its for way less.He obviously got paid for the car when it was wrecked, so anything is profit even if it was $2000.A brandd title isnt always a bad thing.My bike was totaled for the plastics being bad form a low side slide.Plastics cost $1000s new from the dealer so its easier to total it out.For some cars its the same.My bike is fully covered for moe than I have into it.
