I'd be real uninterested in that car real quick. You never get a full history even if the paperwork is legit (or seems to be). Rebuild and a dodge seller rings too many bells. Is that fresh fluid on the lot from that car?

Run away!

I hear the Honda cbr1000rr repsol edition makes a great winter commuter.

kkk^^^

Plus you should be able to get a loan, from 0% to 4-6% depending on the length of the loan and your credit. One just needs to look around and not jump on the first "Good" deal, it's a buyers market...AJ

That's an awful winter commuter. I lived for 5 years in weather.com's 3 rd snowiest town. Your motorcycle would be a better winter commuter.

As frank said, if you want a commuter, go cheap. That's a toy.

Too many red flags, find something better.

While it may not be a bucket of problems, you won't know unless you have the car thoroughly inspected.
And I was of the impression that once a WA title is branded, it's that way for life...

Kevin is spot on.
I've been in the auto biz for over 25 years & have seen plenty of salvage title vehicles.
I wouldn't touch one with a 10 foot pole.

Don't do it....that's too much. Plus rebuilt titles can be difficult to insure and get loans for. Let someone else deal with issues like that.

Bought the wife an '05 Subaru STI brand new w/ 4mi. on the clock for 31k. It is now paid off and shows 81k mi. KBB shows we can still get close to 20k for it.
With all the after mkt. goodies on it there isn't much on the road (besides our bikes) that can pull it.

Besides, that car is a Dodge..... Need I say more?

does it even have a hemi in it??I would stay away unless its for way less.He obviously got paid for the car when it was wrecked, so anything is profit even if it was $2000.A brandd title isnt always a bad thing. My bike was totaled for the plastics being bad form a low side slide.Plastics cost $1000s new from the dealer so its easier to total it out.For some cars its the same.My bike is fully covered for moe than I have into it.

I'm a Honda Civic, Toyota Corolla, Nissan Sentra, Mazda 3 type of guy. Boring? Yes. But I make up for it with guns, bicycles, cameras, motorcycles, computers, and snowboards which I can afford because I don't spend money on big gas guzzling behemoths that are worth less than half of what I paid when I'm ready for a new one. It's the boring cars that maintain their value over time. I've paid my dues to the auto industry when I was young, and I learned my lesson. Maybe you can learn from me too.

I'll add a whole nickel and agree with this guy !!!

What exactly are you looking to get? Muscle car? Something for year round...??

Just get a used 4x4 Ranger for 8K or something like that for a commuter. Muscle cars suck on ice. Plus that gives you enough money for another bike.

Every car in the world now has a hemispherical head. It's not special. It's a 16 valve motor. The 'Hemi' thing is pure marketing drivel. Trucks come with 'Hemi' motors. Trucks are fucking trucks. Only in the world of NASCAR is a truck a performance vehicle.

The '24' badge is gay as hell. So are the wheels.

Around 20 grand is way too much for such a car, especially with title issues. That much money buys you a well-maintained and excellent condition E46 M3. Or if you want to pull hard, buy an E36 M3 in perfect shape, and you'll still have plenty of money left for forced induction. At least both of those cars have suspension that works well, and aren't simply designed for the sole purpose of being able to fit 26" wheels under them.

look for a 4wd truck, something that you can get your bike into if you feel the need to do a trackday.

yup, go that route.
