Since it's a nice day, I'm going to ride my motorcycle over to Aberdeen to look at a Corvette in a few minutes.

problem is this.

your 17mpg prerunner with a 4.3l v-6 isnt going to do that.

going to need more power....

Check engine light on? Sounds like it should be....if it is, get the code read at AutoZone or O'Reilly's for free.

That is a lot of oil smoke. At least on camera is looks like a lot of blue smoke.

That is not one of those exhaust flame thrower kits is it? At about the 1 minute mark it starts to look like a blue flame but it could just be the camera doing funny things. They do sound a bit like that.

Just a swag..but sounds like no cats in the exhaust...and blue smoke on start up from bad valve stem seals?... how many miles?

Blue smoke? Might just be the camera.

It was 8:00 AM and about 40 degrees outside when I started it up.

113k miles.

No mufflers, but it has a cat!

Taking it to Titus Will in Olympia on Tuesday.

was the engine cold when you started it?

Does it sound the same when the engine is warmed up?

Take a different video where the camera isnt in direct line with the tail pipe (45 deg angle).

is there any modifications on the car ?

look at the oil on the dipstick. How does the oil look and smell ?

Did the owner say when the last tune up was ? Who did it and what was done ?

It was tuned by Speed Secrets in Snohomy.

Yes, there are modifications. Honestly, I'm still not 100% sure what was done. Cams...uh...X-pipe...headers...

On Tuesday, I'm hoping the dealership will be able to provide me with more info.

It sounds like that cold and warm. I might need to invest in ear plugs.

The smoke looks like condensation to me as it evaporates pretty quickly.

What are you saying is wrong with the car? Sounds fine to me just sounds like a cammed Corvette

The big question is how does it run ? Have you taken it out and opened it up???

Yes. Got it up to 120 mph in 5th gear. That was easy.

I was more surprised by the incredible acceleration it has. This thing can hit 80 mph in 2nd gear. I think it might be as fast as my 600.
