Blame Hollywood, Ca for yesterdays ride!!

So went for a little ride today with SmokinJoe started off running up to the stunt show in Auburn, then down to Triumph of Lakewood for their little BBQ/ open house. After that we decided to run down to Astoria, Or to find the home of "The Goonies". Upon arrival in Astoria we discovered the movie was filmed 30 mi south of where we were(30 mi more than we wanted to go on our bikes by this time) So we ate some really good pizza at a place on the water called Pizza Schmizza. All in all it was a 350 mi "Pizza Run"

on a couple of sportbikes. on a side note we did see the school from "Kindergarden Cop"and im pretty sure we passed by the house from the "Goonies". Also if you do this trip ever be prepared to stop often to clean your windscreen as the 30 is pretty forrested. My body is sore and i dont think i could ride right now if I wanted to, unless the girl is super cute that asks....lol. Well here are some pictures enjoy...B

Gonna have to get SVJ and do some long haul since you are willing to ride a 350 mile round trip for pizza.

no we stuck to easiest way google maps could find. we're both new to the area and didnt want to get lost plus by the time we got down there and heading back up we were beat, our day started @ 1030 and ended close to 2300

That sounds like a fun ride. I was at the stunt show in Auburn also and didn't even think of a ride like that.

Where are the pics of the school and the Goonies house?

alas it was late and i was quite tired didn't feel like stopping any more for pictures. there are more pictures from the road, but i have to wait for joe to upload them

for my .02 I'd like to say that we did find a rock of some kind

and the pizza place was fun, they had these neat little kids coloring pictures on the wall such as this little piece by Darcy age 29

and now just a bunch of random pics the ride

and some of the finer areas of Astoria

the trip was a blast, but that CBR is rediculously uncomfortable

She's the one that crashed, not me

She is doing good. My bike is collecting dust right know. I feel to guilty to go out. She sits at home alone and bored all week. Don't want to leave her alone on the weekends as well to.
