thanks again lee for leading another ride, great new roads. keep them coming.

I am not sure who what was worse, seeing the crash, pushing the bike through the stumpy forest or knocking on the door of the mountain woman asking if we could stash a bike in her driveway for an hour (sketchy!), either way, glad to help as much as i could and it means a lot to see everyone drop everything and help an injured rider.

Just as an FYI guys the news is saying some pretty nasty weather is headed here toward clackamas county. Severe thunderstorms, rain, and possible quarter sized hail. Its sunny right now, but its suppose to hit in the next hour or so. I'll be staying in, if you do head out, ride safe! Have a good one.

What level is the riding like for this ride? Fairly flexible? I'm a n00b and don't want to end up over my head. I have no problems going my own pace, I am the type that would rather be lost than slowing others down so they aren't having their fun. Tonight's out, though.

This ride is open to all riders, new or experienced. We always have a "sweeper" so it doesnt matter how slow (or fast ) you go. No man is left behind. Hope to see you out there!

Thanks Kasey. I will be out there at some point. Just not sure when, yet. I've been riding to work, and doing some other rides. Have ridden with another member here, which was a huge help. I want to do the mentor/mentee rides, but they haven't coincided with my schedule thus far.

No worries! I ride a majority of the afternoons and weekends and am a mentor on the "mentor/mentee" rides. Gimme a shout if you ever wanna put in some time and go over some techniques. There are also always plenty of rides posted on the forum, and most are newbie friendly. Welcome to the site! What are you ridin by the way?

Saw where a limb falling onto a car caused it to skid about 10 feet into a ditch!

I just modified my profile to put in my bike. I have Triumph Bonneville. There's a red FZ6 that frequently parks next to my car or my bike in the parking garage downtown. I love the looks of the bike.

hey, good to ride with ya guys for a bit.. Sorry I split off when I did, just wasn't feelin it. Actually almost just told you guys to go ahead without me before we even started the ride but can't pass up the ride.. I couldn't pick up the lines like I usually do and I came in way too hot in a couple of corners and WAY wide in a few others.. Plus the gravel we hit in that right hand turn. I was done after that.

Hope everything went ok with you guys after the split off.

Hey Corey sorry you left us. I apologize for the pace, I was just on that road and it had no gravel anywhere so it kind of surprised me. Hope you will join us again on the next one. The rest of the roads were in real good shape and I got a good test of the video.
