Also Lee,

I rode most of our "normal" eastside roads this weekend and they were all in pretty good shape so provided this rain hasn't washed a bunch of debris on the road we should be good to go!

If it drys out a little tomorrow we can stick to more open roads until next week, we have a few different choices.

Current weather says possible showers until 11am then this storm should pass. The weather guys pretty much are guess this time of year with that sort of detail so who knows if they are right but it should be decent weather by the evening.

Good turn out tonight on our first standing ride.

Thanks everyone for coming out. The roads were in great shape and dry. Sorry I could not make Bike Night but have got to get ready to leave tomorrow. Hope to see everyone on the the next one. Ride Safe.

Who ever can/want will go to the Bike Night.
My understanding is that its just Thursday ride that will try to bring riders together and Bike Night is another bonuse for the ride.

Lee can probably anwser this better.

FYI 70% of todays riders when to the Bike Night

From my understanding the eastside ride was going to terminate at bike night for those that want to attend.

The standing Thursday ride is just that, an east side ride. More often than not im sure it will end up at the bike night, but out of sheer convenience and not of necessity. That being said, anyone who wants to come is welcome to do both, or just one or the other! Its always a blast!

The Eastside ride will finish up close to Oregon City most of the time(depending on who is leading) so it's a easy and short ride to the Bike Night. Last night we finish about 8:00 pm which seems about right and the majority of the riders went on to the Bike night, which is great because we did not get a chance to stop much on our ride.

Next time I will have to remember to bring a clear visor.

It was good seeing everyone tonight. Sorry to the MV Agusta guy who got away. I guess you missed a turn. I cough up to you and honked and blinked my lights, I was behind you for a good while.

It was me on the MV...

You were probably behind me for a while before I noticed

- once I saw you I thought you wanted to pass so I was waiting for the next straightaway then I didn't see you. I eventually realized what happened, but figured I wouldn't know which street to take once I turned around.

The iPhone got me back to civilization and I headed to Eastside Bike Night.

Thanks for the attempt - and for sweeping! It was a fun ride.
