Glad to hear the rest of the ride went well. Sorry I bailed, just didn't feel like wearing myself out with the heat and long distance so I decided to stay closer to home and learn some new (to me) roads.

On my way through Rhody a pack of about 10 harleys went by the opposite direction giving me the slow down wave. Up ahead was a motocop sting in operation. Apparently it's the law to move over a lane when they have someone pulled over. One of them practically threw himself into my lane telling me to move over! Whatever...they were completely off the road and I was in the left of my lane only going 40mph.
