Here's mine from EDR's free dyno day  Eric was really cool and gave me some tips on tuning my carbs to make the bike run better. This was my first time going to EDR, what a cool shop! Before I went in I guessed that my '96 YZF600r was putting out about 85 HP. I was right on the money! |

| Peg Dragger  Joined: Oct 2007 From: SE Portland I Ride: 2007 Yamaha FZ6 "Kurenai Yozora" | lol, i was at EDR. finally got my mirror block off plates that I've been long overdue to go get. if I had taken the bike there instead of my car (i had a bunch of other errands to run today) i would've seen how the fz6 stood up. any idea how much a dyno test costs when you need to run one for a new ECU map? |

| Joined: Jun 2007 From: beavercreek, or I Ride: a suzuki RF900R and a bicycle :) | true - i guess my bike is holding onto its factory horsepower fairly well. the new 600s are supposed to make like 115 right? and mine was supposed to make 125 ish. mines making 20 less than that at the wheel and so is Hath's so i guess im doing ok for a 15 year old 53,000 mile bike! |

it came off the road two weeks ago at 87.4hp rebuilding and tuning carbs full leo vance bolt-on.(from the yosi thats on it) hoping to end around 125 when spring comes. just need some suggestions, what else is simple and easy yet not gearing...or a pwr cmmdr | |

Ain't going to happen unless you stumble across an ex AMA race bike. And it would still be slower than an R6 on a track. |

You hope to pull an additional 40hp out of a 600r? LOL. That's 143% what you have now. You can't put a power commander on a carb'd bike, the whole point of a PC is to control fuel. The easy and simple method is to buy a higher displacement bike. Gsxr 750 sounds about right. Fwiw, my R6 puts out 120.2 hp | ||

You MAY be able to pull 90 out of it with some cams and jetting. Unless you want to drop some major dollars on engine work that's about all you're gonna get with bolt ons. It's not an R6...... | |

How many of you have touched a 1472 cubic inch two stroke diesel with quad turbos, two intercoolers, F15 Eagle rear tires/wheels and Boeing 737 fronts in a Freightliner that goes 230 MPH that your Dad and Uncle built?? Hint: Bonneville Salt Flats. | |
