Last night was the first time we have ridden 2 up on the SM and I by the end of the night we had her riding position figured out and I was scraping pegs.  I am sure it will end up splitting into two groups with the mix of riders posting up.I am excited about this ride. Never been to the end. I have actually only done the Wind river rd/ Cougar loop so it will be the first time up 25/99.  Bill it will be fun riding with you again. First the guy riding in front of me on the Buell (didn't grab your name bro) almost get's killed by the maniac in the Trailblazer. "Buell guy" pulls out to pass the truck (in a passing lane) and the truck guy yanks the wheel over almost hitting the bike!!!  I couldn't believe my eyes! Then he proceeds to flip us off like we're in the wrong. We finally got safely past that asshole when..........Got pulled over and ticketed on Hwy 14 for speeding. 83 in a 55 zone.  Then..........2 minutes later got pulled over again. This time supposedly going 65. I swear I was going the speed limit that time though. The second guy just gave me a warning. He walked up and I'm just shaking my head in disbelief. I hand him the previous ticket and told him I just finished talking to one of his buddies a couple minutes earlier. He told me I was going 65 and that at this rate it's going to be an expensive day for me. Dick. Anyways he gave me a warning and told me to be safe. We caught back up to our group a little while later in Randle. Then we just figured our luck was gone for the day and it would be best to just head home. Shitty day, could have been worse though. Be safe out there everyone.  |
