Exhaust Getting Too Hot???
I have an 06 R1 with a PCIII and Graves Titanium exhaust kit and my exhsust has been burning my back end of my bike (around the break light). It is just the heat comming from the pipes but I'm thinking my Power Commander isn't set correctly maybe.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know what I could do to fix it?

I'll post some pictures when I get home.

You could be running too lean, though I think those bikes specifically aren't set up well with the exhaust/taillights. I've seen numerous R1's of that gen with blackened brake lights.

If its burning plastic that far from the motor I'd have to guess its running way too lean. Have you had it dyno tuned? I'd have it checked out immediately.
