I Ride: wrecked bikes!
Woodburn - Biker down.
My cousin called this morning saying that there is motorcycle accident in front of her house.

WOODBURN — A Gervais man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a minivan in northern Marion County late Saturday morning.
Marion County Sheriff’s Office reported that Sonny John Munkel, 23, of Gervais was traveling north on South Boones Ferry Road and passing vehicles when his motorcycle hit head on with a Chrysler minivan driven by Miguel Angel Ramirez, 23, of Salem. Munkel died at the scene.
A passenger on the motorcycle, Ashley Demotte-Nichols, 23, sustained critical injuries after being ejected from the bike. Demotte-Nichols was transported to OHSU via Life Flight.
Ramirez sustained minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
Police said that speed may have been a factor in the collision, which is under investigation.

Was told by a friend who's dad is fire fighter that the bike was in the opposite lane when it collided with the van.

My ant was scared that it could have been her son in-law that rides sport bike.

Crazy stuff.

SOO many motorcycle accidents!!! It's freaking me out. I have never ridden so little during summer and I know my work schedule isn't the only thing keeping me back...

Wow...this is very close to my house...this sucks just that much worse.

The speed thing is getting kinda annoying...seems that's always a factor...I travel that road quite often...
