Hey all--
I just ordered a tire from Cycle Gear (Thought i'd support him in his race to be number 1 sales guy) but they can't put it on, since I have to ride the bike in.
Any suggestions on where to go that will be the cheapest?
Apex is out, so please dont suggest them, even though i know they are cheap.

I don't want to have to take it somewhere and pay an hours worth of labor.

EDR! They will do it while you wait, and they are probably as good a price as you will find.

Cycle Gear will put the tire on if you bring the wheel in. EDR will do both (ride the bike in or just bring the wheel) but it will cost you more when you bring the tire from somewhere else.

Right... I can't just bring the wheel in, though. I am in the midst of devising a plan with goose to get it on!

Front or rear? If its the rear I can get her done for $25. Front I can do it about the same just need some more time.

SDS was done my tires for $10/tire - wheel off and they will do it while you wait.
Not sure if that has changed.

I cannot comment on Attitude at EDR, I live close to D&S so I use them for everything.

Bill's right, we have too many Cori's to keep track of. I need to start issuing digits ( Cory 1, Cory 2, etc). Hm.. who ranks highest

EDR will price match.... And Gary.... he's just a big teddy bear... it's hard not to hug him when you see him.

$40 and they'll mount it on the bike.

well, not me yet...

Took my 'tard wheels/tires to be swapped there just this week, great service, 20 bucks a piece is very reasonable and while I bored Corie with my busa crash stories, it was done in 15 min or less…oh, and that was the first time I used EDR for service, and don't really know anyone there...

Yep... Eric's grandfather used to do all my work (20 years ago) at the original D&S in Tigard... family business, you might say...

Gary just swaped out that 190/55 I got from you Sentor.

Let's hope it hangs together for some spirited street / twistie rides.

There are other people to do the job, I have my pref, the location is great, go to 24hour fitness, grab some food nearby, come back and talk some shop.

I just send my business to EDR.
