| Pit Crew Joined: Jun 2008 From: Oregon I Ride: like an idiot | Next Year with Blackie I think next year I'm going to host a standing ride weekly for Sundays, they will leave from various key locations, and the routes will always be different but fun, I think my gather time will be 10 and leave 10:30. Ill be doing coast runs, St Helens Runs, Fossil runs and Detroit lake runs, and Hagg Lake. if anyone wants to come, I figure if there is always a ride to do then no one has to guess and miss out. Ill start um up in May. I found that I really love leading groups and since I cant take over Wednesdays since it is a rotating thing I wanna do Blackie rides. |

I will still attend always the wednesday ride and ill lead them anytime im asked, but I really want to start a weekly ride that is mine, and im volunteering Aprillia to sweep, my thought is he and I and like Soil could run the route the previous saturday so the route is set and make sure if there are road hazards I can forewarn for the next day. I dont want anyone to think that I want to hog the weekends for just riding with me, if there is another ride that someone wants to set up for the weekend im all for that, but too many weekends went by this last season where no one would organize, so Im stepping up to say "when in doubt come ride with blackie" the meet ups for the West Side will be Clay's 185 Starbucks for the East and South Side will be Lee650's exit 10 Oregon city 76, North Side Rides will Leave Gateway Starbucks, and for rides doing skyline/scappose and all points NW we meet at Sylvan Chevron. Now, Id like my ride to be spirited (no faster than 20 over), all levels will be welcomed, but riding in your ability will be a must, the same Wednesday night rules will apply meaning, any major stopping point, or question in direction in the road we all stop as group. If the group winds up being more than 15 riders I will designate a second lead lead that know's the route as well. We went on some fun rides this year and I think we can have alot more, I discovered a few gem of roads im not sure anyone else has ridden and im looking forward to bringing them into the mix. | |

basically I want to set next year up so there is always a ride to be had. I would hope Transported and all the other "usual suspects" would show up (yes saki and fluffy you are part of that crew) | |

 I don't usually plan ahead. Next year is too far away for me to commit.  Things change faster than we plan so why don't we wait and see? | |
