so hey guys im thinking when I roll my ass out of bed maybe doi8ng a test run on my Sunday, we meet in at shell station at the corner of Roy Rogers and 99W in Sherwood at the ripe early hour of 12:00pm and so pleople can actually read this post that are looking for a ride (so dont have to miss church) and head out to sherwood HW to 211, go over Chehalm pass into Newberg, then out 240 to yamhill south on 47 to Carlton then west on Meadow Lake until it turns to gravel. (about 15-20 miles but great twisties) anyone interested post or txt 503-484-7831 (My Number) whole run takes about 2-3 hours but the road is 2nd gear heaven

That's the route I was thinking about, Rob. Actually, I was out through Carlton & Haag Lake today - it was NICE! See ya in Sherwood.

I might join you if I can get there by noon... I think it'll be a little too early for me, though... I have someone coming to the house tomorrow and taking some tires off my hands (they are supposed to be here between 11-noon, coming up from Woodburn... so...???).

Rob, I know you fell in love with Meadow Lake Rd/Nestucca but just a warning - that road is really only good in the summer. I suspect by now it already has plenty of debris on it.

If you go, just keep that in mind and be careful.

It turned out to be a stellar day for a ride up Meadow Lake Road! Thanks Rob & Pavel- great fun tip-toeing through the wet leaves. AWESOME DAY!!!

( my bike is trashed!!!- it had too much fun, too. )

Yup, it gets ugly in the off season.
