Talking Thanks
I just wanted to thank my amazing crew yet again for going above and beyond the norm....nowadays there seems to be not much thanks/props being given for folks doing a great job at just that, their jobs!

I just got back from my wedding/honeymoon and the last 2 days i was sick as hell, then the flights were a MESS, my new Dakine surf luggage/bag got destroyed by handlers, we got home around 1:20am last night...needless to say i was not in good mood.

I come into shop today (this is ALWAYS a scare for me, what i might see/find) and i was laughing for the first time since Saturday... Corie and the guys have decorated the entire showroom in the Halloween spirit! She carved motorcycle pumpkins, decorated, has a skull with candy on counter, etc....the best is the "EDR" pumpkin next to my MV Brutale...how cool is that??

Then i see the entire shop is just as spotless (more so than i normally mandate..ha) Jay and Gary have so neat i don't wanna work in it for a few days...the showroom Corie moved around a bunch of things, changed things up, redid the entire showcases, etc. She even has all my messages in order, the special orders all lined up, and i didn't have ONE call from a customer this last week with even a ??, the crew did it all.

It made me feel so much better, really amazing to have such a great crew in these tough times. I know I'm not the easiest to work for, since i tend to push folks very hard, wanting them to be and do the best they can and i know they, like me are working as hard as possible in these tough times and yet they still go above and beyond for me, EDR and our customers!

I cant thank Gary, Jay, Chris, Nolan and Corie enough. Really great to have such an amazing group of folks that not only are great at their jobs but enjoy what they do! Even in the most "depressing time of year" for our shop (just after race season ends) they still find a way to have FUN with our shop/customers/each other...and again i dont think there is enough "THANKS" in the world lately and too many folks not enjoying work like they used to, so thank you guys!

OH and before it turns into a drama fest...i am not posting this as a sale/ad/promos or anything its a simple THANKS and appreciation for having employees that dont act like employees just looking for their paychecks and how some folks seem to enjoy their jobs and go above and beyond normal duties. thats it!

Have a great day everyone.

RC30..love the smell of the bikes in that place as you walk in the door. Although we don't do much more than get the tires changed for the big Z, it's nice to walk in and look around (we will however be bringing the big Z1 in for a valve adj. though soon). REI is just across the street too....and that dyno room. Who could hate a job like that?

Looks like a lot of fun.

Eric,
Thanks needs to be given back to you for helping out my clients this year. I've sent a good number of bikes your direction after claims and so far it's been a good relationship. I've known Gary since before he was working with you but it's been good to have him & the rest of your crew available and willing to take care of business in a prompt manner.

I'll continue sending guys your way this winter and next season.

Edit: EDR Pumpkin ftw.

Thanks guys! Times really tough right now but coming back into work and seeing my crew still cares and doing this really meant a lot.

How would you feel if you came back and your office was better than you left it and they did so cause they like working for and with you??

No wedding pics, sorry i try to keep my private life/wife/family just that, private. Its hard when your in such a public job, but to me families and kids and such need to have space/respect on the forums. Hope that comes across right?? ahh..ok here are some...

Our room (thanks to loving grandparents on both sides of family!!)

Interesting drink...haha

The Mexican version of the EDR Crew

I think someone posted up a suggestion for a party soon...i think we might just do that, stay tuned

Eric glad your back and sorry to hear you have been sick. It's easy to do the right things when you enjoy your job and know your boss appreciates your efforts. Your not as hard to work for as you may think. And Corie get all the credit on the show room. She has kept the skull full all week and did the amazing pumpkin. Glad to have you back and will see you in the AM. Rest up !!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN everyone !!!!!!!!

EDR! ahhh yeah, the place where my Sweety is patiently waiting for me
yeah I got to admit a bit of obsessive fondness for my Little RC.

Thanks to You, Gary et. al. for the great job on the bike and for Corie for putting up with my occasional phone call about those italian wheel bits.

Keeping me safe (finding that..... disconnected kickstand lead switch wire) and allowing me to rock on with the machine!

Seriously people, the last time they had my bike they found my sprocket had been installed backwards from a prevous 520 upgrade - that sprocket set/ chain cost me dearly but would have cost me a lot more had Gary not found the prob.

So will be by to pick er' up tomorrow and go for a Tuesday ride with my good PNW Family.

Marchesini be damned, I'm going riding with the Crew!

pv2

Again, thanks to All on the team!

Oh and 24 hour fatness ctr is across the street as well as a very nice art school full of nice .... art.

COngrats on the "M" to you Two!

Congrats Eric!! On everything, well minus the luggage snafu.. oh and let me guess, you got to PAY for bringing that extra baggage didn't you?

Looking forward to stopping by and seeing the crew... don't worry, you'll HEAR me, before you see me. Damn open clutches.
