Ice Racing in Portland! 12.19.09
Is anyone gonna watch? It's at Memorial Coliseum on 12.19.09 at 7:30 pm. There isn't a lot of info on the event that I've found, so far. But I think I will be checking it out!

We going to have a PNWR section? Could be fun

I'd most likely be down to hit those races.

I'm in, Galen... Maybe we could get a 'group buy' if we have enough folks who want to go? If it's reserved seating, that would make it easier to hang with the group...

Watched this up in Everett last year. Great event! Really kid friendly too, I think they'll have some young ones on the ice racing, it's hillarious.

I think I'm going to check it out. Probably bringing my friend's two little sons. They would love it since they both race motocross. Will log-in for tickets as soon as I confirm with their parents.

Are you guys going to make the occasion/environment suitable for children? Or should I seat myself and the kids else where?

I'll be on my best behavior in front of the kids ... however, if there's beer, I'll be drinking it (if you don't consider that kid friendly.)

We don't know yet if Dlightful's company has the suite that night... they share it and we sometimes don't find out which events are available until a few weeks prior.

We have the request in to have the suite and we will post up here the minute we get the word.

Sorry for the delay... We're simply on hold until we know the suite schedule.

Hi Folks -

I just want to remind you guys that this show is in the Memorial Coliseum which does not have any Suites/Luxury boxes.

The promoter is really excited to hear that this group is talking about the show and has offered all PNW readers a free "pit pass" with every ticket. The pit pass gets you early entrance to the event and special VIP access to the bikes and riders on the ice. All purchases made through the group sales portal will get special pit pass pre show access.

thanks!
Frank

Okay, guess that answers our questions about the suite. Bill, you must have been thinking it was at the Rose Quarter... I was confused too.

Are the tickets GA so we can all just buy them and then sit together?

Just to clarify - here at the Rose Quarter we have 2 venues - The Rose Garden and the Memorial Coliseum. The Rose Garden (where the Blazers play) is where we have suites. The Memorial (the older building where the Blazers USED TO play) do not.

That being said, the MC is still a great place for a show! We have a few different levels of tickets:

- VIP Front Row: $40
- VIP Reserved: $20
- General Admission Adult: $12
- General Admission Kids (2-12) $10

Thanks!
