Top 10 Oregon roads
Thought I'd throw in some of my fav's to look forward to this summer! Let me know your best....

Hwy 66 Ashland to K-falls - A total roller coaster ride for 60 miles. Reasonably clear traffic on weekdays.

HWY 53 - Short but sweet!

Hwy 207 Mitchell to Spray - Epic twisties and free camping in Mitchell park.

Hwy 242 - Trucks and Mobiles not allowed - 'nuff said! Too bad it's only open half of the year.

NF 25 Bear Camp Rd. Galice to Gold Beach - Awesome Rogue river views and endless curves, but a bit bumpy.

Add your favorite.....

I was gonna say 53, so instead I'll second it. Nice & twisty, so us slow girls bikes can keep up
66 is a hoot, though I've only rocked in a cage - albeit an STi . . .

Hwy 227 from Canyonville to Trail. A complete rip!

Siuslaw River RD from Austa to Lorane, very predictable single lane.

CR 20 from Hwy 395 to Austin (best road in Oregon if it's clean)

NF 52 from NF-73 to Ukiah 5,000' eleveation rd middle of nowhere rd NF-99 windy ridgeish.

Hwy 53/Miami RR from Garibaldi to Necanicum Junction, get this without traffic and you've been blessed. What a workout!

Link together Fossil-Condon-Ruggs-Spray-Fossil. 125 mile loop with the best of everything in Oregon. No traffic.

Hwy 218 from Shaniko to Fossil. What every road is judged against.

Cow Creek Loop west of I5 between Riddle and Glendale. Epic.

Hwy 47 between Hwy 26 and Clatskanie.

To add to R6 Jon's list:

Dooley Mtn Rd Hwy 245

to CR 20 between 395/Austin junction (probably THE BEST road in Oregon if it's clean- my personal favorite!)

Another for NF 52.
"NF 52 from NF-73 to Ukiah 5,000' elevation rd middle of nowhere rd NF-99 windy ridgeish."

These are probably 3 of the top 5 in Oregon... on anyone's list.

If you're in southern Oregon, check out Dead Indian Memorial Rd - on the east side of Ashland about a 1/2 mile east of I-5 off Hwy 66. A total rip for the first 20 miles, lots of twisties...then you can continue all the way to K-Falls or Chiloquin and enjoy some serious triple digits as you make your way throught the middle of nowhere. Gas up in Ashland and keep your eyes peeled for little critters.

I like skyline. Yep Skyline. I ride it every weekend and time myself how fast I can get from one end to the other. Lets everybody go ride skyline and leave all the other roads empty cause theyre worthless anyways!

I don't think I have ridden that road before. Oh goody, now I have to go ride 53 and then hit the Lewis and Clark Rd. for a comparison test. And then since I will be in Astoria I will have to take 202 to Jewell and see if there are any Elk out and about.

FS 39 through Hells Canyon, 3 down Joseph Canyon, then you have to go up 129 on the Wa. side.

I second 242 but pre-ride a bit before getting on it as that road can hold a few surprises.

Nice road at a relaxed pace. Just wish they'd pave that 2.5 mile section of dirt.

Since all my other fav's have been listed, I'll note the Hell's Canyon Rd from Copperfield to the Dam....That road rocks....literally....watch for rocks.

Mile for mile, E. Oregon has THE best roads. Thanks for the thread....I'm taking notes

Yes, it is a good road, but it's technically in Idaho

I ride that one just about every time I take my bike out of the garage. It's outstanding, and only about 5 minutes from home. I ride 53 about once every week or two when it's nice out, and take the Miami River Road to Garibaldi. It's still a lot of fun, but I have to ride at least 20 minutes from home to get there.

Hwy 202 is all right, but it will be much better if they ever repave it. The stretch of road from Hwy 26 to Jewel is about 9 miles of heaven, then 202 from Jewel to Mist, and 47 from Mist to Clatskanie.

Credits at the end of this video claim it was filmed on Hwy 47. Looks like it was done professionally and it's pretty good riding, although, I don't know how the rider managed to avoid all cars unless the road was closed to other traffic.
