| Superbiker Joined: Dec 2005 From: Marysville I Ride: A lifted JK 0|||||||0 | I have been following this thread for a bit and thought I would post up pictures of the one I just restored for a customer. This was a ground up from a near basket case bike. The motor has been completely rebuilt with a new crank (NOS) and new Wiesco psitons. There is one little item I just cant seem to track down and that is a neutral switch. It cracked when I put the screw to it. Cheap plastic. I had no hand in the paint work that was sent out by the owner. Everything else down to the freshly laced wheels was done over a 1 year period. I my self owned one of these Jewels back in 88. I bought it for $75. It was a rare 69 with a distributor ignition. 1200 miles on the clock in very good condition. The pain still shined but it had a hard water stain on the gauges and tanks where water dripped on it for years while it was stored:( ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry for the crappy iphone pics. I will post better ones with my DSLR later. |

I am waiting for dry pavement so I can be the first to put the front wheel in the air ![]() I have named her the flying pumpkin. But seriously, there will be lots of pictures of this one. Also coming up is a ground up basket case restore of a 74 KZ900 in root beer. 1075cc, 29mm smooth bores and a chrome kerker too |
