It's not in poor taste. That Harley is Jeff's pride and joy, and it's supposed to be in surprisingly good shape (the bike appears to be as tough as the rider). Even if it were obliterated, though, the memories of the bike would still live on.

My BF Kevin (Holypiston) took that picture prior to one of the SFRC's annual 2-stroke rides. It's just a bad coincidence (given what has happened now) that there's broken glass on the street in front of it. I never even noticed it until you mentioned it.

Both of us have met and/or ridden with Jeff. He's the last guy I would ever figure be involved in such a horrific collision like this.

There's nothing worse for families than to stand by helplessly when a loved one is hospitalized with such trauma. I know it firsthand; I watched my Ex die over the course of 7 days @ Harborview in '04 from a MC wreck.

All we can do now is hope and pray for Jeff to have an uneventful, complete recovery as soon as possible.

I met him the day of that SFRC ride at the Sandy Hut, myself. Great guy. I'm praying for his swift and full recovery.

Jeff was on one of the Silverton rides I did with Lee . Vey nice guy and a sweet looking Harley 1200 . Prayers out to him for a full and quick recovery and to all of his friends and family .
