| Moto2 Contender | Debating on whether I should go visit him. His blood pressure tends to skyrocket when I explain to him the obvious superiority of sportbikes over any other two-wheeled beast, especially Harley street trackers. ![]() |

| Moto2 Contender | I visited him today. He looks amazingly healthy and well, and, besides a ferocious case of bedhead, he looks like good ol' Jeff. It sure is good to have him still with us. |

Cracking jokes and up to his old pranks. He looks really good for the amount of injuries that he sustained and remarkably will be able to get back to 100% when fully healed. His spirits and health are really strong as well. After telling him that he looks really good, he told me to tell everyone that he is still not dating. |

![]() ![]() | He is not in Milwaukie but in a facility called Crestview in SW Portland. He doesn't have wifi there and no access to computers. Best way is to call there before you go visit to make sure he is not at physical therapy. |

| Shredder Joined: Jan 2007 From: Washington County I Ride: when the weather is nice | Let me first say a heartfelt thank you to all of you who sent their prayers and best wishes. It was very humbling to receive such an outpouring of support from the motorcycling community. I am not on-line by choice at this time. I just happen to have access to a computer but there is so much that I could be doing on-line that I would rather wait until I am released to home before I tackle it all. For example, my son started a Caring Bridge connection and I want to have the time to read each and every entry there and reply in person to each of the friends who posted. As to my condition, today is about eight weeks since the crash and I have made unbelievable progress. I am still restricted from using my right leg and arm for weight bearing or lifting but I have an appointment with the orthopedist and the trauma doctors tomorrow and am hoping for them to say that the bones have healed enough to include them in my physical therapy. I remain at the rehab center for now but am hoping to be home within a few weeks. My recovery will be lengthy, even considering the recent rate of progress. Such is life. I was incredibly lucky not to have died, God surely was with me. I do not need anything at this time. Many of you have offered your time and your help and I do appreciate it. I am blessed with a truly wonderful family and a network of work and neighborhood friends who have been supportive. Again, I thank you all for your prayers and warm wishes. PNW is a wonderful network of riders from all walks of life and all tastes in bikes. I'm very happy to be able to call so many of you "friend." |
