I like unmarked cop cars. Nobody misbehaves on purpose with a cop around, but what about the jackasses switching from lane to lane in town so the can go 37 while everyone else in traffic goes 34.

Or the asshole that swings in so tight behind you in traffic, the first time traffic piles up, he is sure to rear end you.

Or all the destracted drivers on the road, nobody does that when a marked Leo is around.

Or when you have to merge for a construction zone, and that asshole switches lanes, speeds up 6 car lengths to cut someone off right before the merger cones.

By not knowing if a cop is around or not, it helps keep a lot of these idiots down. And that's important when you are the little guy on the bike.

I've seen things like those take place in full view of a marked cop car ... and he did nothing about it. All this (camouflaged cops) will do, is make them more money.

And I have seen them do something before. Don't break the law. You don't get a ticket. Lots of reason cops pull over some cars for small things and not pull over other people for the same thing. My bet is it has to do with the car, not the infraction. Your make and model might be on their list to check out for a suspected car for X reason.

I know it might seem like they are out to just get you, but it's really not the case. If you are getting stopped a lot, you may want to stand back and look at your driving.

I was just stopped 2 nights ago because she said her computer said there was no registration. A simple check of my paperwork and she told me "have a great night". An inconvenience, yes. A part of daily driving, yes.

This thread is full of fail. Don't break the law, don't worry. Save it for the track. The bunch of you that are worried is because you don't care about your safety or the safety of other motorists. I've been on group rides with a few of you, and passing on double solid yellow is the norm. Keep riding like that, we need to thin out the gene pool.

There are big white signs everywhere that remind people to slow down. In fact they have the speed that the police would like you to stay under, written in big-ass black letters. Since when should police have to remind you to slow down in "police presence"? I get so fucking tired of idiots that do that shit. Usually they drop way below the speedlimit. If it was up to me, there wouldn't be any marked cars at all. People shouldn't have to see a white and black car with lights on top and the word "POLICE" written all over in order to do the right thing and drive responsibly, and within the law.



It's not a business, it's law enforcement. If you don't break the law, you don't get any trouble.

Starbucks: You don't like their coffee? Think it costs way too much? Think it tastes like shit? Hate the music? Then don't fucking go in there.

Cops: You don't like getting pulled over for speeding? Don't speed.
You don't like tickets for little/integrated turn signals? Don't use little/integrated turn signals.
Don't like getting arrested for doing wheelies? Don't do wheelies.
Don't like getting hassled for a plate that is way up under your tail? Put it where you know damn well it should be.


It's the same stupid ass logic that people use when they sue for spilling hot coffee all over their crotch, or because they got cancer from smoking cigarettes, or the bag didn't say that it wasn't a toy, so I let my kid play with it. "well they didn't tell me that my actions would require the most basic of common knowledge and ability to conduct myself as a motherfucking adult. Therefore it is somebody else's fault"
