Haha, GUILTY. I work a few blocks away and we had a little work going-away-party shindig for a colleague.

That must have been before I came out and found not 1 but 2 parking tickets on my seat! :( I got a 'parking ticket' for not having a plate on the bike. The guys sitting at the tables in front did say it was funny watching the meter maid look all over for my plate.

No clue, but I wondered the same thing. The lady did write down my VIN though. Guess I'll have to pay up or it could be a real pain if I get pulled over in the future and they run the registration.

To the grown man I spotted speeding past my house on a kid-sized dirt bike: at least you were wearing a helmet and didn't wheelie when you ran the stop sign without even slowing, just as a stroller-pushing woman was stepping out to cross. Thanks for keeping it classy.

Though I don't always hang my helmet on my mirror, I do sometimes. I like to think the only person who would do something as low, slimy and pathetic as stealing someone's helmet would be a rider. Why else would you steal something like that? And all the riders I have ever met would never even THINK of stealing someone else's helmet! I don't even think I've ever met a rider I didn't like!

So, with that said I like to believe in the inherent "good" nature of people, especially concerning motorcycles and their riders, and trust that my stuff will be there when I return. My dad leaves his KEY in his bike at times! I think that's going a little too far in the trust zone but the fact that his bike has never been stolen adds to my argument about the nature of those who ride motorcycles...

The area of p town I saw it in made me cringe at the thought of some jackass thinkin it would be funny to run off with a mans helmet...there are some strange ones around here...I left mine on my mirror at school the other day and when I came out from class it was sitting on my tank...made me wonder what happened and really happy it was my older scorpion and not my new Bell Star Carbon...I like to think us riders have each others backs and that maybe the guy that left his helmets will read this and remember that we get lucky sometimes but there is a lot of scum that would steal something they'll never use just to be a dick...

Newer green Triumph street (or speed) triple going N on Murray Blvd around 4 pm on Thursday. Apparently a female rider because the white helmet had purple pom pom pigtails coming out of it and the rider was dressed as though she was attending an 80s gymnastics competition or something!

I must confess though...sometimes I wear those pants on my bike because of sheer anger. I get so tired of cagers damn near running me off the road because "they didnt see me". DO. YOU. SEE. ME. NOW? Lol
