Link to Memorial Ride thread     There is going to be a PNW Riders Memorial Ride for Rob on Tuesday May 29th. Since Rob was such an avid supporter of the Tuesday Night Coffee Pre-Rides, it only seemed fitting that we honor him by doing a Tuesday night ride dedicated to him. The ride will start as usual at Cornelius Pass Rd Chevron off of US 26 next to Panda Express and Fred Meyers. Try to meet there between 5:30 and 6pm. The ride usually leaves at 6pm, but as this is a special occasion, we'll aim for Kickstands up at 6:45pm This is going to be a group ride to show support and honor Rob. It's not intended as a fast paced ride to carve the twisties. Please arive ready to show respect and comraderie and understand that it's just not going to be possible to have a spirited ride for this occasion. Also, there is a plan for t-shirts to be made in Rob's Honor. Stay tuned for more details on that. Thanks to everyone for all the support and amazing outpouring in honor of Rob. Ill be at chevron tuesday before 6 ready to ride. Im sure it will be hard on some people to do this ride at first but i think everyone will agree it needs to be done. see you there! |

Was hit with the news of Rob's passing :( RIP, he made me feel totally welcome on my very first Tuesday night ride, stand up guy. Hope this ride will continue indefinitely into the future and act as a memorial the the man who started it all. Think we need to rename this ride in his honor. Weather is looking kinda crappy today, 50% chance of rain pretty much all day. Ill show up if it looks like the roads will be good enough to ride. Anyone for sure showing up? |
