Anyone who cant get motivated to ride today should sell their bike. (or trade me if they have an r1) I will definately be there if im not out on an all day ride. Yeah summer!!!! |

Maybe team oregon will get their act togeather and start doing their class on rainy days only so folks dont shy at the slightest posibility of mist. Beautiful ride up to larch mountain this morning and yes it was a bit damp and foggy on top. Well worth it! see you at chevron! | |

 Dont sweat having full gear. Helmet,jacket and gloves for sure but a lot of us wear jeans in the summer. If thats all you have it works better than no gear. If you ride within your limits you should be ok. | |

| Licensed Joined: May 2009 From: Sl,UT | I normally ride in a Full 1 piece no matter what the pace. I feel volnerable in just jeans and a leather jacket. It messes with my head when I ride. That's why I'm looking for some leather pants. |

I'm cutting it a bit close today too. I have to run my son up to Longview in the cage. I'm leaving a bit early to make sure we get back in time. This week is sooooo nice out we should have a good turnout for this ride.  I feel bad for the riders that only make it out on perfect days. We have had so many great rides already this year. | |

"Ride your own ride" as they say and put your passengers safety first and you will be fine. I did follow Russell 2up once though and highly advise against it unless you have a lot more experience. My gf would have more than that to say about the experience.  | |
