We were on a ride and going through Clatskanie and he was jamming out to his metal music and air drumming as he rode in front of a cop... He got pulled over while the whole group of us pulled off an watched. ![]() Enjoy the video: http://contour.com/stories/rob-meets-a-cop |

| Superbiker ![]() | I had met Rob on a few group rides on skyline a couple years ago. Very nice guy and quite the character. I enjoyed reading his posts on the forum. My condolences to his wife and family. Rest in peace Rob. |

| Shredder | Very shocking and sad to hear. Unfortunately, I don't believe I ever got the chance to meet Black Sabbatical in person. I always assumed that I would eventually run into him on a ride or at a bike night, but sadly, that will not come to pass. PNWRiders has definitely lost one of its characters, and for that we are a little less. Peace and prayers for him, his family, and many friends. |

![]() ![]() | OMG, this is unbelievable. I am at a loss ... Yes, please lets do something that will honor Rob in the best Blackie way possible (legally if possible...). Caslaw summed him up the best. Never a dull moment ... but a heart of gold. |

| Licensed Joined: Jul 2009 From: p town I Ride: Like a Boss | I met rob on my very first group ride three years ago. He showed up on his steed in all black right before we left. He trailed me for the first couple miles riding sweep, then blew past me. At the first stop he came up to me: AYe maTe, I know you're new to riding and I want you to stay safe out here. after a few pointers, we spent the rest of the ride trailing and following one another as i followed his lines. He introduced me to the sportbike community and had one of the biggest hearts of anyone I've ever met. RIP rider |

Yes he had his moments but his heart was always on his sleeve. He would go out of his way to help anyone who needed it and was one of the nicest guys I've known. My thought and prayers to Shannon. Rest in Peace, my friend, I will miss you. |
