Rob was the type of guy that even if you didn't know him that well he would always come up to you and greet you like you were his long lost friend. He had a very magnetic personality that was impossible to miss. |

He's one of those guys that makes you realize you can't judge a book by it's cover. He was so welcoming and I can't remember his quote now even though he said it like every time I saw him...something about being a friend, but because we ride together, we are a family... You will be missed Rob. RIP. |

| Peg Dragger Joined: Jun 2008 From: Portland, Oregon I Ride: 03 RC51 SP-2 | My open letter to Rob Rob, Rob, Rob: I feel like I have a cotton ball from my head to the middle of my chest. Don't know what to say about this other than.. this is just wrong. Someone so full of life and like you said, "as graceful as a bull in a china shop." If you are indeed with us in spirit, just know that Sax and I had a long conversation at Bannings, like our own support network. We kept a chair open for you and wished to God it was all just a Dramatic Joke, you'd walk in and we'd all laugh. WE'd water up a bit and laugh, but this feeling of sudden disbelief permeated non-the-less. Sax mentioned "Surreal and so very sad, sudden, disbelief." Gosh, we talked a lot about you and our experiences as I am sure you would know. We missed you last TNC. Sure as hell we saw the rain coming down this morning on that big Bannings W Side window and figured if you aren't riding today, I can take a day off too. We will have rides for you, one really soon. I am sure you'd expect no less of us. Was so looking forward to us working out together again after a couple months of getting yourself tuned up for it. I was so happy to see you at TNC a couple of weeks ago, albeit I was without my bike. So glad in retrospect I got to see you one more time before you left. Enjoy this your new life, we will sure be along too, perhaps you will be at the lead on a ride waiting on us at the StopLight counting us in as we come along at the all the way to the sweep. Cheers Ol Pal, Big Hug, Certainly Sax will chime in soon. God Bless You and your family. pv2 |

Never too cool to talk to a newbie (he sat and chatted with me at a few of my first TNCs back in '09). My prayers to all his close friends and family. Nathan |

P.S. Rob if you meet my Lil brother up there enjoy a ride with him for me... you and he are so alike |

Rob, you will be missed. It was always interesting to ride with you and your heart was made of gold. Always ready to lend a hand to a friend or a stranger. I rode with Rob couple weeks ago and it was Deer Island. I remember Rob in his special jacket, back jeans showing off his crack and of course choking in smoke while behind him. ![]() AMEN! |
