I have been working my right index finger like mad. Softballs, squirt guns, and an entire bag of stuff that the physical therapist has given me to use. My finger is just not getting full motion back. Looks like tendon is fused to scar tissue, and scar is pretty thick. so, unless is imporvment in a few weeks, I might have a second surgery. I work my finger like mad all day long, so additional surgery would sux bad, but I will do whatever it takes to get my finger back.

My lawsuit delima is still still underway. Police are taking forever to release their report for some reason, and that is holding up everything. Hopefully I get the report soon and can move forwad on that peice.

Hospital bills, even after my insurance, are starting to pile up. And so far I have to pay whatever is left. Is starting to suck badly. It is quite lame how expensive medical bills are to be honest. But that is the way of it here in the good'ol USA.

My wife has authorized me to get a bike, but will be a while before I buy since I have to pay all these medical bills etc. Mentally I am ready to ride. It would be nice to have full use of my right hand before I climbed on 2 wheels too. So probably some time next year for my replace-ment machine.

I lost this entire summer, my favorite motorcycle and so far a ton of cash, because someone decided to turn in front of me. And so far I have gotten zippo in recompense. This experience has been quite demoralizing for me. But, I am alive, and still here, could have been a lot worse.

My rule is if I'm on a 4 lane non highway road being in the right lane makes me invisible to the oncoming left turners. From what I gathered he banged into the right lane to pass and had the misfortune of not seeing the left turner. It doesnt matter if it was an old geezer behind the wheel...he didnt see the left turner.

I saw the guy turning left, he moved his car a little bit (2 or 3 feet) and stopped, so I assumed was not going to turn, so I focused down the road 10 or 12 seconds, and checked my mirrors. Then he pulls right in front of me. I had under 2 seconds to react.. It sucked badly. But at least I lived.

Looks like I will need a second surgery for my right index finger, as I still do not have full motion from it, even after 6 weeks of physical therapy. Next surgery will be pretty minor, they tell me. Just remove tendon from scar tissue etc. After that another round of physical therapy. To get my finger back, is worth the additional surgery for sure.

I got squirt gun, that helps a lot. Also I use several types of putty. i have a whole bag of crap I use all day to work my finger, HAH.

Did you get a ticket for the accident? Or was your video evidence used to throw it out? or is that what is still pending?

I was charged with reckless driving and assault, but both got dropped at arraignment, so I was charged with nothing. I am still recovering from the crash, and am waiting for my civil suit to finish. Those take a while, unfortunately.

It was suggested to me by a few of you to keep details out this forumn, since this is a public forumn etc., as this might impact any lawsuit etc. I am going to head the advice, but will not ask that he thread is deleted, since all that I have said in here is the truth, and I am ok with telling the truth. If any of you met me in person, I would tell you the hole story. But, for now, I will keep the details from the forumn, until it is over.

The update I can put on here is that I am probably going to have a second surgery to get full motion back in my right index finger. BTW, the idea for squirt gun has been awesome. That has helped me a great deal and the physical therapist said that was an awesome idea. Thanks for the suggestion.

To be sure, I have listened to many of your alls suggestions. Help like this, and the spreading of communial knowlegde and experience is, in my opinion, the main reason to have a forumn like this. I don't know any of the real people that responded to this forumn or to me with private messages directly, but thank you all so much. Your suggestions have made a real impact on my life.
