Absolutely. Lol you weren't lying about a "quick pace" after you left my buddy and I had to just sit there for a little while and calm down. The ride home felt like it was in slow motion

if you got such a rush that you had to sit and relax before you could ride home... chances are you were riding above your comfort level, and imho you need to slow down.
