An encounter with 2 Portland Police motorcycle cops

I asked if I could take their photo and instead they had me sitting on one of their rides for my picture instead.

They look a lot better on them than I so here they are. Cool guys. Thanks.

No jackets? They were policing a local community event and weren't planning on chasing down you hooligans.

And yes the key was removed. Notice the near bike placed on its center stand so I wouldn't drop it. Lights also turned on to make me feel even more special.

Bikes are the r1200rt.

Riding around with a gun all day would be cool, except the cop part would suck. Kudos to the people who can do that job well.

I see these bikes rolling in and out of the SE Precinct 24/7/365, and if you talk to any of them, they love their jobs.
