Arai replacement parts
Can anyone help? A helpful friend tonight was trying to show me something really cool with my helmet and broke the part of the helmet that goes over the visor. Is this something that can be replaced under warranty?

Any help?

I would post a picture but I don't know how to...

Sounds like you are talking about the side pods?

Haha, yea.

I just looked at the Arai page and did a few other searches and it looks like you might need to contact Arai directly to get those. They have a message on their site saying the parts section is under construction or something like that.

I know I had some issues with mine when I first got the helmet, but I got them figured out. Is there a chance they aren't really broken?

Thanks for your help

But you might be able to either fix it or still use it. Just dont try and force it, get someone that is used to working with them.

Is this a new lid? And what were you doing when it broke?

I had the same problem with mine. I've broken both sides at different times. Just go to any authorized dealer and ask if they have some spares for sale. I got a couple for $5.00. Keeps you in the game, if you contact Arai it could take a week or two.

I've had both sides break the top hook tab in the last two years. Each time I took it into Cycle Gear and they got me replacement parts covered under warranty. The first time it took seven months to get the replacement part, the second time one month. They also gave me a loaner side cover each time.

Anyone who carries Arai should be able to get those, I would think.... that is a verrrrrrryyyyyy common problem.

EDIT: whoops, what Ron said....

Under warrentee? Doubt it. Your friend broke it.
Anyone that sells Arai can get, or stocks parts.
