The closest Prem to Fossil is Condon, Monument, and Madras. (from what I can remember...)

I think we can make it back by 5. It took 10 hours last time but that included alot of getting lost, waiting, lolly gagging, etc. I think we can do it much faster this time around. It's only about 350 miles round trip so it can't take too long

350 should be easy to do in 7.5 hrs....including lunch and plenty of stops...

four of us did 390 last week. Lots of rest stops, nice relaxing lunch..9 hrs.

hey, can someone put up a map for those of us who can't make it this weekend? I'd really like to make the trip, but I'll most likely be pulling it on a weekday. Thanks!

I have a timing belt project to finish up tomorrow. Plus I think this might be a little too much ride for me right now. My buddy John will be at Factory at 8:30 though. He should be able to keep up. Look for him on a black 2003 CBR1000RR. Have fun and everyone be safe. Id like to explore the "sweeper rumor" from the other post on monday if anyone is down? Later, D.

That would be a 2004 CBR not 2003, but thank you Darren anyway for the intro

On the way back a cop whizzed by us to give the car in front of us a ticket

Another great fun ride... but I think I need a bike upgrade soon. My poor bike was screaming the whole way.

You rode well on this ride , might as well save the bones over the winter and then unload for another ride in the spring .

Great ride. Man the Troopers had the lower part of Hwy 26 covered big time. I think we saw about five cops in a five mile section. Glad none of them were over in the Eastern part of the state.

I saw two of Clackamas counties finest they were parked at Ripplebrook ranger station shooting the breeze I gave a wave as I rode by . I'm glad I was riding the GSXR they would have heard me coming a mile away on my R6 with an Akro pipe .
