Word on the street is that there will be a massive crackdown on speeding this weekend in Washington and Oregon centred around the I5 corridor. You can bet that will mean everywhere!

Crackdown seems to be centred on sportbikes according to NPR. Stay safe and vigilant boys and girls! No statistics from the PNW group please, ride with your halo.

I kinda doubt that they are specifically targeting sports bikes, or even bikes in general for that matter. What the Oregonian newspaper said today was that they will be looking for speeders and tailgaters specifically. The flip side of the coin is that you don't really want to end up as a part of some family minivan paint scheme because Dad's hustling to get home and the kids are screaming in the back. Besides, I just hate people who tailgate bikes. Watch your six and don't do anything stupid and you'll be just fine.
