| MotoGP Champion | Will there be full lines of clothing to buy from the manufacturers? Will there be standard retail prices, or...? |

They've got full lines of clothing you can buy, though I know they tend towards womens clothing. Tamara is a great gal for those who don't know her. |

| Streetfighter ![]() Joined: Sep 2007 From: Independence, Oregon I Ride: 2007 FZ1 | Am I missing something here? Isn't this advertising in a public forum? Not that I care, since it's not my forum, but it's not why I joined here. What's next: are we going to be lured to Central Oregon with promises of freebies so we can buy a time share or condo? I suppose if we do at least it would be a longer ride.... Just asking........ |

| MotoGP Champion | Doesn't feel like spam to me. Maybe if Bob Lamphere advertised an event here it might. But SCurve is a small shop catering to the local riding cognocenti and Tamara is a rider herself, leads rides, and is a member of the forum. Passes the smell test for me. |

I am glad we are given the opportunity to go join this event and have fun with fellow riders. It's a free event with local members so I see no problem. As you continue to hang around, you'll see not only do we do rides but we also have many events set up in the motorcycle community. You have the option of going or not going - It is all an effort to share, have fun, and spread the word. Just what I like to see Last edited by Spec; 10-09-2007 at 07:52 AM.. | |

| Streetfighter Joined: Sep 2006 From: Portland, Oregon I Ride: 1986 Honda Magna V65 | I will ring in here with my opinion too, since I know you ALL value it so Highly ![]() What makes or breaks the "SMELL TEST" for me, as Transported put it, is if the person posting has been a social poster here for a while BEFORE they post something like this. We have had examples of those who joined the forum and then the same day their First and Only post is something like this post. To me thats just wrong. At that point it is obvious to me the Only reason that person joined was to promote their own shit. That annoys me. But if someone who has been a contributing member here and has been active both on and off line has an event that is bike related, I don't have a problem with them announcing it to the forum. As stated above this is just an opinion and it has No Retail Value, Your mileage may vary. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program |

I think ALL promotions posted should at least be scrutinized. And you were just giving your opinion as we all were. No hard feelings. |
