Cascade is a great org., there groups tend to be faster than some otheres tho, if you looking for track instruction they will help you you just need to ask for it, Moto corsa and PSSR tend to be a little slower pace and a little more insrtuction and 1 on 1. You cant go rong with any of them. Just be sure you have good tires and full gear. A group is fast fast, B group is medium to fast and C group is slow to medium. I learned more on my first track day then in 2 full years of street riding. track time usualy slows you down on the street and makes you a better safer rider. Sighn up early cause they do fill up and in mid summer where the weather is guaranteed nice you need to sigh up even earlier, plus you save like $20 if you sighn up before the day of the event. WARNING it is addictive.

First 1 was Vic. Brandons bro. There were alot of slower riders in his way. Trying to avoid one he low sided on 4. 1st session. Broken handlebar

Second Session a new guy Polo did not put heat in tires, low sided as well. Busted water hose

The other was not a down but a crash. One rider cut off Alfredo at 170mph. Alfredo grabbed a hand full of brake, pulled a crazy stoppie before kissing the back of the other rider. Other rider unknown. Fredo did not go down

there was also a 3to4 pile up on turn 2b. All ok

another got cold feel on the back straight ditched his bike on turn 6 at about 150, the bike ended past turn 8.

The others not sure about.

Marcos was black flagged on his gixxer. He driffted the rear wheel, crapped his leathers, pulled off to the grass to recover, pulled pack to the race line where everyone is doing 150+ back straight!! He rode his cbr the rest of the day!! Too crazzy. All in all no broken bones.

The photographer earned his keep today! I'll look through my onboard footage see what the video camera saw? Who knows, might get lucky. We had 3 bikes set up w/ vid to study our techniques and learn from our mistakes.

Yeah someone decided to jump off their bike on the back straight, their bike ended up in the inner green of turn 7.

Strange to see someone rag-dolled on the inner cement wall.

me having fun:

Dustin, is that you? I was pitted somewhat next to you for two days. Fred, here.

I think Alfredo thought it was me that had an incident with him. I cannot find any damage on my bike, at all so I'm a little baffled. There were several bikes exactly like mine, but only one with blue and white leathers, so I dunno.

I just woke up, made the mother (of all that's evil) in my life breakfast and now have to return the car we rented to get home to the airport.

I cannot believe how fast the beginner group was at the Cascade track day. At some others, there are a ton more street riders, but these guys take their days serious. I loved it!

I have learned so much in the last 4 track day sessions.
