Hillsboro/Beaverton Riders?
I see you guys/gals all the time out in Hillsboro on my way to work (Intel).

Just wanted to see who's here and if you all meet up at any designated time/place.

I work a compressed week so I'm off Sunday to every other Wednesday and my schedules wide open for a day trip.

I usually hit the coast routes and throw in a few Mt. Hood/Helens rides every so often.

So if you're out there sound up so we can get some rides set up!

Yeah, I know Dave. He's a good guy, a really good guy. Lots of riders over in RA. Brian Brewer works your shift in D1D. He's a racer. Mark LeMay is a tech in CR on your shift. I believe he rides a Ducati too. I'm not aware of anyone who works in RA that belongs to this forum but I'm sure there must be some. I don't work there any longer. Retired after 30 years.

Sometime ask Dave about the track that runs in the spam can between D1D and CR. That passageway used to expand and contract with the weather (really!) and played havoc with the OHV system between the two buildings. Skanska did a great job insulating the whole thing. I never thought it was a good solution but I was wrong.

Ha ha what a small world.

Dave is a really good guy and very easy to work for.

I'll ask him when I go back to work this week.

Woohoo, another Duc rider, can't get enough of us! I'm in the Beaverton/Tigard area. Though I'm the typical Mon-Fri worker. :(

When we you @ F5? I was S6 for one year starting in '95-'96, then S1 for four years and was on the closure/refit to F15.5 teams -- all on wet stations/front end etch.

I live on the coast between Seaside and Astoria. Let me know if you guys are coming this way sometime and I'll try to join you at least while you're on the coast. I have every other week off, and rarely get to ride with anyone. I ride an R1, but my brother-in-law had a new 848 till someone stole it in Portland a couple of months ago.

Hey David. Mentioned meeting you and your wife up there at Bald Peak in the thread on the ride. Saw you again down on Murray as we were heading home. You should join one of the west side rides sometime. You guys would have fun.

Hey David! Totally didn't know you were on this forum last night when our group met up with ya at Bald Peak. And again at the light on Scholls F. and Roy Rodgers. Man the WASCO that passed our group could NOT have rubber necked harder as our 6 bikes went past him. LOL

You'd have a lot better chance for finding a ride if you posted up something original instead of burying it in another thread. Use your initiative and pick a location to ride to? For example, Multnomah Falls, Scappoose via Apiary Road, Astoria via Hwy 47 and Hwy 202, Tillamook via Hwy 6 and then back on Hwy 53 and Hwy 26. Lots of options. Tell people where you are going to start and when you want to roll out and you will have company for sure. If I'm wrong, there's nothing like a little solo ride to get your head screwed on straight, eh? Moral of the story? Original posts work best for rides. Go for it!
