ThunderHill Nov 3rd & 4th
If you have not been to Thunderhill you have to put it on your schedule. Grant and I went down, with a lot of other riders from the Portland area, and had a blast. The first day sucked but Tuesday we woke up to clear skies and sun. Grant, Dave and I chased each other all day long. We even got Del to follow us at the end of the day and take some video, which I hope he will post or send me a link to, along with his critique. Amy (Cbrgirrl) came down to the B class to help a friend out, so I took the opportunity to sneak in behind them and learn some new lines, thanks Amy.

Here is Grant trying to pass me on the Inside, but I cut him off.

A lot of left hand turns ate up my rear tire.

Hope we can do it again this Spring.

What a great experience! I couldn’t have been happier about the track, the facility, the organization (PSSR) or the fun group of riders who attended. That was my first go at a track day and I know I’ll be back again and again. T-Hill was so much fun I’ll be down there 2-3 times next year and hope to see Old Man, Transported, Polvo2 as well as a few of the other usual suspects who didn’t make it down there.

Got a long ways to go but I look forward to each turn:

Man! Sun and a dry track in November!? Who could ask for anything better than that!? Looking good out there! Grant what are you going to do about those hard parts? They're scraping the ground!

Those are my slide factor indicators. I’d like to get rid of them but they’ve saved my butt a couple of times so they’re staying. I’m going to spend the wetter months working on getting my ar$e off the seat and dipping that shoulder in hoping my peg and turns 5a and 14 can get over whatever attraction they had together.

Hope to see you down there next year Mark, I-4 or not.

Yes we were, as long as he was on his 250 I could pull him on the straights but damn he would catch me on the corners. Lots of fun, hope you can join us next time. Looks like the Eastern Oregon Track will be open in March.

Oh boy! I hadn't been to the ORP site in awhile and that's exciting news. BTW, Lee, just how old are you? I ask because I'm a bit long in the tooth myself.

I was under the impression that a 2:00 flat was a very quick lap time here, i.e. a few seconds off record pace, so I guess you could maybe estimate "A" group doing, idk, 2:10's?
"B" doing 2:20's and C in the 2:30's maybe?

Ya' know, Lee, as we get older it gets harder to remember things.....lie looking at your DRIVER'S LICENSE to see how old you are .

MCA - I was looking for time that some of the gang ran. Since the first liar always loses, I'm keeping mine to myself .
