A story of good and bad people...
Thankfully, there are some more pictures coming to light!

This is going to be a little photo story about nice people... and MEAN people.

First a couple of the main players in this evening - can you guess if they are the 'good guys' or the 'bad guys'?

OH-OH, What has caught their attention???

It's the "new rider ride" rollin' into Ava's (the good guys!)

WOW! somebody is REALLY excited about what's goin' down!

And check these guys OUT! They won't even let a brother take his helmet off! After leading a 'new rider' ride for about 2 hours; shepherding new, inexperienced riders through challenging roads - sweating, stressing, trying hard to just freely give of himself... our hero doesn't get a second to relax... and the bad guys are ALL over him as soon as they can be!

Even with TWO bad guys working together (one distracting and the other trying to sneak up and snag a key) -our hero prevails! The bad guys sent away KEY-LESS! Why must MCA keep trying to do the SAME annoying and silly thing over and over???

I really like this shot... you can almost see the halo over my head as the evil and mean spirited MCA expresses his frustrations...

My poor, innocent motorcycle... never hurt anyone... sitting there resting...

First - AWESOME seeing you out Sharron!! (and wow! glad you're excited too!)

Now, back to business... ladies - please beware - MCA has a charming and inviting smile, but underneath... lord only knows what evil lurks!!!

I spent the early part of the evening being haunted by this look. Every time I would look up, there it would be... evil, just staring at me, smiling... (now THAT was really CREEPY!!)

Wow - What has this guy SOOOO excited?

Only a couple questions here:

First - please note, the bike is NOT where I left it. That means SOMEBODY moved it, without a key! (how far young man? how far??)

next - who gave up the condom? Because as proven later in the evening, MCA REALLY REALLY doesn't NEED to carry one of those 'just in case' - because 'just in case' AINT gonna happen to his silly ASS!

and only ONE more question... Ashfoot - how did you KNOW to take ALL these pictures with ALL these interesting subjects at ALL the right times? hmmmm - interesting! (Maybe YOU should pay attention to the lessons MCA is working to learn now days??)

Joe - enjoy! if you want to, please feel free to call me and we can fill in some fun quote bubbles later!

MCA - another little friendly reminder, son...

NICE to people = good things

MEAN to people = BAD things

let the records show that the only reason I wasn't there was because my bike and sole transportation is down due to a broken crank case breather.

I want to come to your next Coffee Night. Here's my plan...

I get off work Tues morn in Longview, WA. Rather than go home to the coast where nothing is going on, I'm going to ride to your area on Cornelius Pass because I've never done it on a bike. Then, I'm going to hang out in Hillsboro, Beaverton, or Portland most of the day looking for stuff to do. I might try a gym for an hour or so, then explore some of the motorcycle shops I've read about and any gun shops I can find. Eventually, I hope to meet up with someone for a ride, or if no one is available, just come to the Coffee Night to meet you guys.

About 6 pages back on this thread (post #225), tt600n00b (Jared?) offered a spare room to sleep, then Eugene did also. I don't know if those offers still stand, but I'm not riding 26 back to the coast at night, and I have to be in Aurora about noon on Wednesday anyway. I'll just show up and if someone offers a room or a corner to sleep in after meeting me, that would be cool. Otherwise, I'll find a hotel room somewhere for Tues night. Anyone would probably feel more comfortable offering a place to stay after meeting me, so I'll not plan anything till that night. Cool? I won't have any sleep gear, because on my R1 I don't know where I would fit it. I'll be lucky to fit some extra underwear and t-shirts.

If anyone has no plans on Tuesday, and would like to show me anything interesting in the area, food, MC and gun shops, etc. Give me a call. My number is on my profile. I'll have my phone on all the time.

This is what I look like in my summer coat without my skull bucket.

Sorry for taking so much space here. I didn't know where else to post my plan. Thanks, John

Got it. You should be hearing from me Tuesday late morning, or early afternoon. I'm thinking of trying to find a gym over there to start my day off right. I'll end up eating like a pig later, but I wont feel so guilty if I start out right. I'm just not sure what I'll do with the stuff on my bike while I'm inside.
