SDS Performance Wins OMRRA #1, #3, and #5 Overall Plates!!

It was a tough season and has taken this long to let it sink in since the OMRRA banquet at how blessed we are to take the lion’s share of the hardware and what a great team of riders we have. When we moved the shop 180 miles and started the '08 race season we were working out of our trailer while the shop was being built. After lots of late nights (some over niters!), finally we opened the doors in July and set our heads down with the intent to win everything! Naysayers said it couldn’t/wouldn’t be done and that SDS Performance was all smoke and mirrors, no way could they support that many riders in their first year, no way would they put a dent in the results. Unfortunately for them when all the smoke cleared the only mirrored reflections were those of our riders in a mountain of championship trophies!

We are very fortunate to have a great group of racers to work with. Their hard work and determination is what makes them champions and we are honored to have earned their trust in our program this season and look forward to many more. Congratulations to SDS Performance riders with earning a total of 8 class championships, a pile of top 10 class rankings, 9 PIR class track records and 3 of the 5 OMRRA Overall Championship plates:

#3 Dave Salmi
#5 Chris Ancien

We would also like to congratulate our competition for keeping the pressure on and driving us through the long nights, most notably Kevin and Brian Pinkstaff for their OMRRA overall #2 and #4 plates. Congratulations to Zlock Racing and the Pinkstaff brothers for an outstanding season.
