Beware of scam
so I was fishing around craigslist the other day and found a bike that was rediculously cheap. I know, i figured it was a scam but then i went to the website and saw that it was a "repo website." Anyways, I dont know if this is a repost or anything but its definitely a scam. I looked it up and a few people have been scamed already. Just a heads up...

Oh the website name is repotemple.com

I don't really get how people get taken by these scams. To me they're all so blatantly obvious.

Heres the thing and why its so easy to get taken.

One: Newbs who havent bought anything over internet adds before dont know what to expect or not expect and or what to look for.

Two: Newbs see the super low prices and "success stories" so they think its reputable without doing any research.

Three: Stupidity

A while back when I was looking for my bike I stumbled on a guy who said he had a 05 gsxr750 for 3500 recon title. Sounds about right right? Well I talked to him and everything. He was very good at convincing me that I dont deposit anything till after I get the bike, well actually you do have to secure the money in a third party account... Gotcha! I almost deposited the money but at the last minute decided it seemed wrong so I went with my gut. To this point I had not even thought about it being a scam because as any salesman would know, sell the deal not the product, and I was buying "deal."

This post was meant for people who dont really know what to look for and when people see a full website with a contest and everything on it then they kinda forget about the prey senario. I know its obvious to us because we either have experience already with a scammer or know someone who has but this is for that one person who knows what a scam is but can be distracted by a great deal that seems legit.
