Got it. Important place in early Oregon history. Used to have a post office, a couple of sawmills, a school, etc. This is Mountaindale. North off of 26, just before the cut-off for Hwy 6. Very near where the original "Five Oaks" was, which was a gathering place for Indians, and later early settlers, to trade.

And here is your new tag. Need a hint? I'd be surprised since many of the Wednesday westside rides pass it by.

Many of the west siders on this forum are new to this part of Oregon (or young enough that they haven't had a license long enough to explore). Let me know if you need another hint. That's where I thought it was. I guess I have too much of tunnel vison when riding and did not see it.

And on my way home tonight I saw it and I can't beleive I didn't remember since I go home that way every night.
