Oh i refuse to give a hint now. I think i will make everyone suffer and aimlessly ride around looking for it. Wait, did i say suffer and ride in the same sentence?

uPoNit, I agree. I'll try and get there tomorrow, I mean today, if no one else post a picture first.

By the way, I love this thread.

Not sure if I got the exact place, but right after the entering Columbia County sign on Sauvie Island is a dirt road to the beach. Let me know if this is it or if I'm close.

The clouds blocked out Mt St Helens and there were many bushes on the beach. Got some crazy looks from all the fisherman.

If this is it and I get the O.K. I will post the next picture.

LOL! I realized after I was on my way, I forgot the photo. I probably would have got a better picture, but had to do it from memory.

that is close enough. I wasn't worried too much about the exact location since there are many places that look similar to where i took the picture. Point is you went out and did it.

Here's the next site. I hope it isn't to easy. For now all I'll say is the gate closes at 9pm daily.

I know what/where this is... and I think 9pm is a bit late for this place.

I'll give a clue since there hasn't been much activity, sorry CBRinPDX if this hurts your chances. It is near a big Portland landmark.

I don't know if that will help much.

When are you peeps gonna get away from Portland, for pete's sake?! All these don't take more than half hour to get to!

Remember the boundaries of this tag? All that room to go and nobody is going! What - not warm enough for a longer ride?

David, there was no chance of me getting this tag due to time constraints, but thanks for thinking of me.

Matt, nice photo. You sure didn't go very far

Magda, perhaps you should snag the current tag and setup a good example for us.

Great job I would have gone further, but I had already spent Saturday away from the family and my wife let me out Sunday morning, which is our family day, to get the photo. Yes, I'm wiped and she's great!

I would but my last photo tag sat for three days, untouched. I am afraid if I go where I would want to, I'd kill this game.

I like that it's going now so don't tempt me!

I'll run up there and get it after work today if no one gets it before me. After that it may take me until Saturday to post a photo. That way I can ride somewhere fun and get a good one.

The clock is ticking.

Well the weather may not wait as we are to have rain with possible snow for the next few days - looks like we did not get the weather so we are on
where to next

As I've never been to the Rose Garden and Washington Park this one wasn't easy for me. I had to do some research to find the right park with a fountain. I was hoping to get the picture with snow but it had already melted by the time I got there this morning. I think tomorrow will be a nice day to find a good spot for the next tag!

What! no new tag? No fair, I got tomorrow off and I was hoping that I'd at least have something to look for. I was looking forward to going out the the garden, but I'd have been happy with a new target....

Want company setting a new tag?

This is a great thread. I live over in Vanc so I am always a day late on discovering the tag location and getting out to it in time, but its great to have a list of places to go and see. In fact i think I will start a photobucket page for myself with pictures of the SV650 at each of the tag spots even though I wasn't the tagger :-)

Looking forward to the next tag!

Have at it!!!

Be careful of the gravel on the roads! No snow on the roads but some on the sides!

I'm thinking about doing a separate photo tag for dual sports but it might be a little hard. One tree, rock, or dirt road, looks like another, ya know?

You can give people GPS coordinates and let them find it.

Wait, so can you get there on a street bike or not?
It doesn't matter, I have no clue where this is anyway. Hints coming soon?

Yes you can get there on a street bike. I was just stating you should be careful of the gravel on the roads in this area.

Hint, well the picture is of the old west. I suggest you start looking that direction from Portland.

Hey this has turned out great! Just so everybody knows the thread is intended to be self regulating. That is, if anybody wants to create a new anything (rule, forum, ect...) just post up and let the community decide. (getting all wikinomics jimmy wales and shit)

divide and conquer
