Now I think we need to go west again .I'll be going to Edgefield tonight, and don't think I'll be able to get there in time today. Maybe I'll try tomorrow if it's not snowing to hard . |

| Newbie Joined: Mar 2009 From: Portland, OR I Ride: 2003 SV650s | New guy swooping in here, stealing your thunder... There was still snow falling, but not enough to affect the roads, just enough to cover the visor really quickly. The weather was really crazy, I started the ride in the sun, had some rain and sleet for a while, then snow, a bit of hail, more rain, then back to sun. Definitely the kind of weather that makes me appreciate my 'stich and my heated gear. Definitely a ride worth going on. I grew up very near that road, and used to take my car out that way on a weekly basis. I live in North Portland now, and this was the first time I had taken the bike out that way. I ended up with about 5 hours of riding, including the stops along the way, I think around 120 miles. So the downside is that I didn't get any other good photos that would have a good ride attached to them, but here's my best shot: The bike is on a trail that probably shouldn't have motor vehicles on it, but there were no signs posted, so I went for it.
