Brian, thanks for letting me ride the GSX-R600. I've only ridden the Yamar R6S and I think I like the feel of the Suzuki better. It seems to have decent midrange and very sharp handling. The power isn't that far off from my bike, but I don't like the snap of fuel injection. It lunges and then kind of stumbles in a short flat spot. I like the progressive power of my carbed bike. But, I guess you figure out how to compensate for that. Sorry I was extra late last evening. I was nicked by a Portland policeman for rolling through a stoplight. He said I have two options: pay a $242 fine for failing to stop, or get the warning slip he had in his hand...
Was nice riding with you too, hope to get my tecnicals refreshed, Twisty road being a bit different from track, and different from normal street riding.

It was a real positive 1st day.

Glad you found a very reasonable Portland Policeman.

Good ride again. Old Germantown is neat you don't have to shift. It's definitely a tad sketchy with no centerline, gravel potholes etc.

Turned out we did AWESOME in regards to the rain. Clear and dry when we left and we went through maybe two 'patches' where it had dropped a few drips maybe half an hour before we cruised through!

Great ride - saw the return of the BLACK rocker; Brian is as amazingly cool and collected and a GREAT leader as ever!

Looks like we are going to get splatterd with rain.

May pass on the ride.

I am fine with me; all in all I enjoy rain rides; however, the Caged Ones may not be up to driving well.

I Ride: 01 Speed Triple/Suzuki RF900 95
How bad is it going from portland to the start of this ride that time of day? I know the traffic coming down the hill but not up the hill. Is burnside a mess through down town and up the hill as well?

If I can shake work by 5 will take a good stab at coming from the east side.

I leave work downtown and get home in SW then usually get to Sylvan via backroads by around 6:00.

Not that bad really, I never make it to this ride (and will be missing it again today due to stupid work), but I live downtown and can get to that area in about 20 minutes even with traffic. Just cut through the city and forget about taking 26 up there.

Yep we did mcname but it was after 615. There was loose gravel and I thought it was funny we were halfway thru it when there was a sign sayin.....loose gravel lol. Nice ride guys. Fun metting some new people and thanx to the leaders

Pretty sure I lost my wallet somewhere between my house and the Chevron we met up at.

Thought maybe I left it at home but I got home and no wallet. Now that I think about it I remember having my wallet before I left, and my zipper pocket was open when I got to the chevron.

Thanks for getting my fuel Clay.

Gotta call the credit card companies.... Fun.

Ditto. That was great. Everyone seemed very welcoming. By the way, that skyline saloon is a little slice of heaven. What a cool find!
