| MotoGP Champion | I had a blast tonight. I love it when I get some folks to keep me on my toes. Tonight, trunkmonkey, ChrisMag and Mark on his super had me exploring new lean angles to keep with 'em, especially on my old favorite McNamee. I usually don't get this loosey-goosey until after my first Fossil run of the year. Mark, your impromptu jog through the brush was entertaining. Almost as much fun as watching you extend the length of your wheelies every time I see you. Awesome new loop, Lena. I think that's going to become a Wednesday night standard. Thanks for running sweep so well, Clay, and then the one chance you had to stretch your legs on Old Germantown we got stuck behind a pickup. Nice to see so many new people, too. I hope you'll come back for more. Oh, and Rob, Humphrey was sweet tonight, wasn't it? No debris or oil drippings and the couple of cars hardly slowed us down. Damn, I love that little piece of road. |

I wouldn't want to detract attention from the event. I will be going straight from the short ride to the benefit, aiming to be there around 7 pm. If anyone wants to tag along, you're welcome to do that.  This might be a separate ride if other people want to go on a longer loop. |

Sorry I couldn't hang around longer, but I had to get home and was just taking a quick ride after work when I caught up with you guys. It was great though, I have not been down that road in a while, and only a few times last year, being able to follow someone helped out tremendously. I need to do laps on that and Newberry, espcially since I live so close. |

It fell out of my jacket I apparently forgot to zip it up.  A pedal biker found it and called my gym which had a my phone number written down wrong by 1 digit. they finally called my emergency contact and then got a hold of me. I picked up the wallet from him today and gave him $20, pretty nice guy rides dirt bikes we were talking about how crazy skyline gets with the pedal bikes, cars, and motorcycles. I was just surprised I got it returned to me. |

I'm not a very good conversationalist, 'cause after asking one of you what group you were, I thought I heard BMW riders. Looking around, I see 2 maybe 3 BMW bikes and all the rest are different. Now, I figure the rider I asked, said PNW, and I misheard it as BMW. So, not being a very good talker, I just stood around with my son waiting for the tow truck until a little after 7 pm. Two of the group, red and black riders stopped there for awhile. I was explaining to my son the different kinds of bikes and gear we were seeing on Skyline. I should have done a little more talking, no matter what. |

Kim told some of us last night at coffee that she was getting gas at the sylvan chevron and was talking to the owner and he said that it's cool that we meet there and we should give him a call and let him know when we are going to and he will block off the lane so we have a place to park the bikes....not exactly sure where he means but that sounds pretty cool of him. so if anyone wants to give him a call just get the number. |

| MotoGP Champion | Thanks all for coming out tonight. Lots of daylight, light traffic and good weather. I counted 14 of us, with a variety of bikes and riding style. It was fun, and I got to meet some new friends. Good to ride with you again, Johnny B. I like the Husa, but I think you were faster on the Buell. Travis, thanks for leading. Good pace and I promise next time you show up, I won't make you lead and we can chase each other around. John and AJ, I'm really glad you came out. AJ will get onto this before he knows it. When I asked how many miles he had, I meant under his belt on the street; not how many the bike had. If he can make a mentor ride or more standing Wednesday rides, maybe I can offer some tips. Looking forward to next week's ride. |

Nice to see you Vaun, you were nearly the only face I recognized. I dont mind leading I was just hesitant tonight because I have not ridden in 2 weeks so I was rusty. Plus I dont know the routine on this ride anymore and have not been on those roads in a LONG time. I had a good time, it was cool to get out that way. oh, Thanks for the sweep Rob. | |

| MotoGP Champion | ^^^The leathers are a good idea regardless. Glad you had a great time. And, while you can have a blast on any bike at all, sportbikes are especially fun on sweeping roads like Skyline. (Supermotos are probably more fun on tight twisties.) |
