| MotoGP Champion | Yes, my riding buds are scarce during the summer. Then, they put the bikes away for the winter. I am going to ride tonight. I'll lead a quicker group, if we are splitting it up. Maybe Clay wants to lead a slower group? If it's a small turnout, then we'll all stick together. |

| MotoGP Champion | We had five tonight, thumbing our noses at the heat. Wasn't too bad, except my tires got a little greasy coming down McNamee. Thanks for all for coming out. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger. A warning about Johnson/Logie Trail going west from Skyline. There are signs indicating gravel, but it is not gravel. It is really two sections of sand. I would recommend that you not ride through any of the sand, because I rode through one small section and my front end felt like it was on ice. |

| Zone Head Joined: Mar 2008 From: Beaverton, OR - CLAY I Ride: K6 GSXR 1K | just for the record... I was NOT leading when dude busted up his bike. and unfortunately, there were a couple people there that haven't had the pleasure of spending HOURS and HOURS with me lecturing about riding safely... maybe if he had gotten to hear all that, maybe he wouldn't have been riding as hard as he was. I really hate seeing people crash - could you guys PLEASE just stop doing that? (yes, I'm REALLY worried I may crash tomorrow now! - so guess what that means, I'm gonna ride SLOWER than I normally do, regardless) It was good meeting everyone and seeing those I've met before!! I'll be out on the west side again tomorrow! come play! C |

| Newbie Joined: Jul 2009 From: portland, or I Ride: all the time | my birthday hey guys, this Wednesday the 2nd of september happens to be my birthday. It would be great if we could get a decent sized group that night. It would suck to show up that evening and have nobody else show up. so invite a friend, if you dont normally show up, you should. 6 oclock, chevron @ sylvan. |

So, hopefully Dax figures it out (especially since I'm supposed to be at ORP on Monday/Tuesday! )If Dax works his magic and I get my bike back quick, I'll do my best... | |

| MotoGP Champion | As Van Morrison sang: Well, it's a marvelous night for a moondance... Good turnout for Nick's birthday, traffic on Skyline was light, no mishaps that I am aware of, and I didn't even see one LEO. Life is good on a standing Wednesday ride. |
