Stolen from my house in Wallingford (Seattle), off of N 51st St. sometime last night or early this A.M. It's a red 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 650 with about 14,000 on the odometer. I'm on a computer without access to any decent photos, here's what I have right now.
The VIN # is JKAEXEE13CDA07891 As far as Ninja 650's go, it's very recognizable. It has a dent in the left side tank, Wood Craft rear sets, a bright baby blue Nitron rear shock, Zero Gravity double bubble windscreen, Tech Spec tank protector / side grips, and a Leo Vince underbody exhaust system. A few stickers as well. If for any odd reason any of you see it cruising around, do what needs to be done. Or if nothing else let me know.
Sorry to hear this, I'll keep an eye out, not too many red ninja 650s around, especially with a blue shock.
Here's what I tell everyone: Go to your local garbage collection company at about 5am and start handing out flyers. Offer a case of beer or $50 if they find the bike. We (garbagemen) cover every street and alley in every city at least twice a week, many times more. If it's not in a garage or repainted we'll generally find it. My coworkers found my stolen R6 years ago and a buddy of mine recovered an F4i a couple years back. Recology and waste management both are based in south Seattle.
Wow, that's actually freaking brilliant. Never stopped to think how much you guys see and how anyone with stolen goods wouldn't expect you to be looking.
