lol, yeah. That's not just any old C2 though...it's a '63 split! In incredible shape except for a super rusty frame...yet the body barely has any rust. She'll get restored eventually. Right now it's an investment, that is one car that will NEVER loose value. The 63 split will always be a collectible.

It's just a little dust :-P but yeah, next time I go home i'm taking her down, doing an oil change, and giving her a good wash.

she *might* make an appearance at one of the friday night drags....

Should do 11s cake, if it'll hook! No burn outs...tires too expensive lol

Drags can be rough on 'vette u-joints and there's a bunch of 'em!

But you're right, she should be quick!

oh for sure..the half axles have been beefed up a bit though should handle it just fine. If not...easy to fix!

Scariest part is with the accell FI it's pre plumed for a 150shot of nitrous....no way in hell that power could be put down to the ground though...not with half axles at least. We'll never but nitrous on that's for sure.

Sweet 'vette! There is a local guy that runs a set of wheel that look like those on his 98 vette. Good choice.

Anyone remember watching Corvette Summer? the inspiration to my 1st and only vette.

Been a while (so much that the forum moved everything, requested this moved to projects).

Few more updates to the car, it's not a main focus but still gets worked on here and there.

Latest addition

Dirty (dirt driveway) but only picture I have with the new brakes and soft-top up.

one other picture to show of the paint when it was clean. (old brakes), when it's in light but not direct sun the color is so deep.

One other thing I never mentioned, we had a nice clear plastic sheet applied to the paint where the back of the softtop meets the deck. It won't wear the paint now like 99.9% of the cars do, it was kind of a chronic problem.

Things left to do:

Retrofit electric actuators for headlights
Detail the engine
Build new crossmember for behind the seats and tight fit rollbars behind the seats.
