(both being front calipers as normally those bikes had drum rear brakes) http://images.cmsnl.com/img/partslis...f0008_defd.gif Last edited by Desvio; 06-07-2012 at 11:55 AM.. |

Front Brake Master Cylinder for Honda CB400 maybe? See if it has a part number on it anywhere, may not even be Honda. Last edited by Desvio; 06-07-2012 at 12:35 PM.. |

Have the other rebuild kits lined up also for the front and rear caliper plus front master cylinder. Going to go look a them this morning to confirm the parts before I order though. All in all looks like about 70 bucks for all the kits. Not too shabby! |

| Superbiker ![]() | He made his own hubs...how awesome is that!!! Can't wait to see the video. Looks just like the period racers I've looked at in old magazines...love the tank/seat/wheels. I remember talking to an machinist about pipes on his old racers...see the reverse cone on the end of the pipe too. The old guy said a good design could give you an edge..think he mostly did dirt track on old Triumphs/BSAs stuff like that. Like the "expansion chamber" like powerbomb? thing. very cool old school. ![]() ![]() Joined: May 2011 From: LaCenter, WA I Ride: 2003 Copper SV1K | Some brake parts arrived, the rest Friday night. Going to be busy hell come Friday night with complete brake reassembly, installation, and bleeding. Had to get new pads, so went with some Vesrah units. Both masters were seized and the calipers don't look like they'll be any better. Soaking in a solvent tank until I can get home. Not even 100 PSI air would budge them..... Gave the old broken windshield to a guy who is going to make me not one but TWO for the cost of materials in addition to some new white number plates. They won't be done by Saturday but I'm not disappointed at all. Such is the price for dipping into my "favor bank". Just glad I have one!! Once it's completely reassembled I'll get some pics up here I promise. |
