I am alternating, riding her like normal....but keeping the RPMs from staying in one spot for too long. I started with short trips to warm up, then let it cool. I have ridden to Salem and back twice this week and all over with no problems. No Transformer stickers.... lol I have to do some repair work on the plastics, but I plan on something special and closer to original. You will see.... | |

The other one was clean. I'd still like to get my hands on it, and restore it to good condition. I bet he'd take 400.00 for it. |

I have searched high and low and this little gem has called me back every time. I hope to have it done soon. I want to paint the wheels white too. ![]() Last edited by Phlebmaster; 10-01-2012 at 08:57 PM.. |

I think I'd try to get the horizontal stripes parallel, and the 'hockey stick' portion at the ends shaped/slanted the same. Maybe a dual (red/blue) stripe on the chin fairing. But it's YOUR bike, and YOUR rattlecans. And you left off the transformers stickers . |

Can you incorporate that into your design??? Maybe the colors starting out from a point on the chin fairing and each color getting progressively wider near the top/rearward part??? Stick with the red/white/blue them whatever you do! Check out the 1990 cbr1000 Hurricane here: http://www.motorera.com/honda/h1000/...n/hurrican.htm It's not what I described necessarily, but I really like that. Maybe spark your imagination? Sure, I can angle the lines. Let me play with the pic some more and see what it looks like |

This is more what I'm referring to: http://ebardp48.smugmug.com/gallery/...N6NNy&lb=1&s=A The colors terminate in a point near the pillion but start out wide near the front wheel. Dunno, food for thought.... |
