Anyone got any suggestions for a good place to get decently priced fairing sets?

Is ebay my best option?

Anyone know about a site called dhgate.com?

Interested to hear your opinions....

Ive heard good things about nicecycle.com fairings from others first hand. Whatever you do not use motorcyclefairingsrus.com. They fucked me over with a fairing that has fitment issues and color issues and promised me a replacement, then the next day said actually they won't. Paypal wont help you either, they told me I'd have to pay to ship the thing back to china which costs almost as much as the fairing, even though the manufacturer's website says free retrun shipping if not satisfied.

Bottom Line: Don't buy the cheapest Chinese fairings. Buy the mid level price nicecycle fairings or used OEM.

Not sure if this is applicable to a 2003 R6, but I know there's a reputable manufacturer of aftermarket fairings from China for my bike.

Your best bet is to go to a forum dedicated to R6's, and search around there. A lot of times, if there's a track-talk section, people will post reviews of fairings they've ordered from China. Or, just in general, there will be reviews.

I ordered and installed a complete fairing set from Auctmarts for my ZX-14. The fairings came very well packaged, and without damage. The material is much thinner than the material used in the OEM fairings, and the fit is not what one would hope for. The OEM fairings have insulating rubber foam; the Auctmarts fairings have none. I carefully filleted the foam segments from my OEM fairings, and affixed them to the Auctmarts fairings with RTV. The pre-drilled holes were spot-on, as were the attachment provisions, although many of the attachment provisions are glued on, rather than being an integral part of the fairing. There are no fasteners provided, so make sure you salvage and retain all the fasteners from your OEM fairings. The cost is far less than what OEM fairings would be, so you get what you pay for. If you can afford OEM fairings, that's really the better way to go, and you'll be happier with the finished job.

The fairing set in the link you provided is actually a competition i did on fireblades for a free fairing set. Audiojunkie won them and we shipped him a 1000RR red bull fairing set.

You really should read the site rules on advertising....if you value your account here.
